Abstract

This report includes 32 recommendations that are intended to improve the functioning of the Washington State Workers Compensation System. The recommendations involve changes in the structure of the system, the organization of the claims management function, the dispute resolution process, the provision of vocational rehabilitation services, L&I' efforts to promote workplace safety, and how workers compensation premiums are set.  Download Chapter 13 as a separate file.
