Question/Complaint Alleged that respondent use public resources to intervene in a private dispute between constituents in violation of RCW 42.52.160.
Summary Public resources may be used in the performance of  "official duties."  It is not an official duty of a legislator to intervene in private disputes between constituents and, therefore, public resources should not be used for such purposes.  Board concluded there was a violation of the Act, Respondent stipulated to same and accepted a Letter of Instruction.
