TIPS FOR GETTING INVOLVED
Volunteer in your community. Volunteer work is a great way to meet other individuals interested in local community issues.
Become active in your school. Ask your school counselor how you can get involved. Some ideas: run for an office within your ASB, join extra-curricular activities such as the school newspaper, Junior State of America, debate, etc.
Become active in the elective process. Contact your state representatives or senator and ask how you can get involved.
Become active in city or local politics.
